JOIN US - WE PAINT EVERY SATURDAY- ALL YEAR LONG

WHERE:

Unless there is a location change, we meet at Kensington Metro Park at the Nature Center parking lot at 8 am, our meeting place every Saturday and we're off to a location in the park after 15 minutes with everyone that shows up to paint. A map is in the calendar link. STAY TUNED FOR NEW LOCATIONS THAT WE WILL BE PAINTING AT!

WHAT TO BRING

Your favorite medium of the day - oils, acrylics watercolor, pastels, sketchpad, camera, and all the other stuff you need and can carry in one load while in the field.

Our goal is to bring artists together to explore and develop the tradition of plein-air painting. We hope to promote an awareness and visual appreciation through our art of Michigan by sharing with the public our experience through shows and exhibitions throughout the state.

WE ARE PAINTING at KENSINGTON on Saturdays. Meet at 8am in the Nature Center Parking Lot, we will paint where we never have painted before.

A Paint out on Grosse Isle - Sept. 20 Rob Bergman is hosting MPAP members to paint on the island on the grounds of the Ford Yacht Club. Map and info coming soon.

A Plein Air Paint out in Northville - Sept. 13, 9am to 4pm meet at the Northville House215 W, Cady street, Northville, MI - models will be on site and you can paint anything else in Northville as well. Also you can bring other works to sell. Tbe Victorian Festival is going on that weekend. for more info - 248-344-4448
