Some of the best things I have learned about art were simply through observing life. Being an only child, I often used drawing as a creative outlet. In 1999 I started oil painting. I joined the Milford Village Fine Art Association in 1999. I learned to use soft pastels in 2005. I have been in numerous art shows, including The Views and Visions, Milford Memories, The Pink Horseshoe, and Pan. I have artwork displayed at The Historical Michigan Museum in Saginaw. I also had my artwork in the Aubergine Gallery in Downtown Milford from December 2005 through December 2006. I have donated many of my pieces for benefits and auctions for charities. I have been pursuing plein air painting in the past few years and I am hooked!
