Lily LaFollette has studied with many national and internationally known artists and began developing her art seriously in 1998 from her rural studio in Fowlerville. Lily entertains the viewer with a variety of styles and moods: realistic, impressionistic and whimsical. Light and a strong sense of design guide her in her quest. Her landscape inspirations come from painting en plein air during her travels. She is an award winning artist affiliated with the Michigan Plein Air Painters, Great Lakes Plein Air Painters, Ann Arbor Women Artists, and the Mid Michigan Art Guild among others. Her artwork on cards for the Livingston County Meals on Wheels program brought in over $4,000 in donations for their Buy a Card, Give a Meal fund raiser.
